Amazon Day!🙊

It's finally here! July 1 - Amazon Day! I am so excited - I barely slept a wink last night! (The sunrise pic out the plane window gives you an idea of how early I woke up.) In fact, the word excited doesn't even begin to describe how I feel. There are a lot of unknowns ahead of me over the next 16 days, and I can't wait to experience it all.  One year ago today, I didn't know what was in store for me.  I spent the last year making incredible memories and doing things that scared the H out of me. My life is now full of people who have motivated/inspired/laughed with me along the way - and this trip is just the icing on the cake! I can't wait to experience life in the Amazon, add to my already full group of family & friends, and see a part of the world I never dreampt I could! Most of all, I am looking forward to sharing this with my students in the fall - and giving them an opportunity to see things they never thought they would. I am thankful to be waiting at the Miami airport - culminating an unbelievable 365 days with the adventure of a lifetime! Thank you for sharing this Indiana Jones experience with me. My expectations are high, my heart is full, I have my hiking boots & Malaria pills, and I'm ready to live out loud! Next stop - Lima, Peru!❤️⚪️❤️
